about
KIOWA GORDON is the seventh of eight children, was born in Berlin, Germany. At age one, his family moved back to McLean, Virginia, where his father worked for the government. At age two, the family moved to the Hualapai Indian reservation in Northern Arizona for the children to learn their heritage and culture. Gordon has spent most of his life in Arizona, where he attended Hermosa Vista, Stapley Jr. High, and Mountain View High School before moving to Cave Creek with his mother and attending Cactus Shadows High School. While living in Cave Creek, Gordon met fellow resident Stephenie Meyer, author of the Twilight books, who encouraged him to try out for The Twilight Saga: New Moon. After a great audition, Gordon landed the role of Embry Call. After filming was done Kiowa moved to Los Angeles and co-founded the hardcore metal band, Touché and fronted the project for 7 months until some creative differences lead him to part ways from the gig. Now Kiowa is working on a solo effort in hopes to find like minded musicians for a new project.
lyrics
Could you stand to be so fickle as your heart beat seems to quicken as I talk? How could you say this would be so simple? You're words are more pointless than I thought.
Take me back to the summers that we had spent up all night remembering places that we had went. I already know locked up in your memories. I really wish that you would stop pretending.
What brings out the worst in you brings out the worst in me. So are we really through? Why is this happening? Take me back because you know you want to. Take me back because you know you want to. Take me back, to the summers that we had spent.
Once it was called love, now the voice is inaudible. We've reached a new low, how despicable. Despite the fact you're incapable of taking it back and giving it back. Our voices, they paint a never-ending scene. The pressure of vices, I'm always caught between. I want this so badly, I can't close my eyes. I'm filling your head up with passionate lies.
Take me back to the summers that we had spent up all night remembering places that we had went. I'm scared to death that it's almost over. We've been done since last October.
What brings out the worst in you, brings out the worst in me. So are we really through? Why is this happening? Take me back because you know you want to. Take me back because you know you want to. I'm way past the point, of picking up pieces. I'm falling apart, with every word that she says.
I will never find anyone like you again. You were what I thought I wanted, needed all along, but I found out I needed something strong. You acted like you always loved me until I went away. Now you always tease me, begging me to stay. Begging me to stay.
Take me back to the summers that we had spent up all night remembering places that we had went. I'm scared to death that it's almost over. I need you here, fucking pull me closer.
What brings out the worst in you, brings out the worst in me. So are we really through? Why is this happening? Take me back because you know you want to. Take me back because you know you want to.
I'm falling apart. Take me back to the summers that we had spent. I'm way passed the point of picking up pieces. I'm falling apart with every word that she says. I'm falling apart. Oh. I'm falling apart. With every word. With every word that she said. That she said.
